Recovery Key

The Recovery Key action lets you view the recovery phrase for a wallet.

Anyone with access to this phrase can control the funds in that wallet.

Danger

Treat the recovery phrase as highly sensitive. Never share it with anyone.

How to view the recovery phrase

1. Open the Wallets screen.
2. Find the wallet to back up.
3. Tap Recovery Key.
4. If prompted, sign in again to continue.
5. Save the recovery phrase in a secure place.
6. Delete the message after the phrase has been safely stored.

Important security notes

Never:

• Share the recovery phrase with anyone
• Store it in an insecure note or chat
• Leave it visible in screenshots
• Send it to anyone claiming to be support

Temporary display

For security, the recovery phrase message is temporary.

• You can delete it manually after saving it.
• It is also deleted automatically after a short time.

Best practices

• Store the recovery phrase offline when possible.
• Keep it in a secure location.
• Make sure it is backed up before funding the wallet.
• Review it in a private setting.
